oh my goodness!! firstly, what a shame this gimmick blog isn’t still going because I would have been their biggest fan. Hail and farewell, gimmick blog counting-horses, which apparently sought and matched racehorse names in the text of tumblr posts.
also, I am extremely pleased by the pedigree of thoroughbred racehorse Fish (USA).

Greek Ship was by Heliopolis (aah, that’s where they got ‘Greek’) by….. a mare named … Boat.
And it is absolutely fabulous that Boat is a child of Man o’ War. Which sure is a type of boat!!!!
In the dam’s line, Big Meal, for her part, being a combination of High Quest and Barn Swallow is absolutely genius.
And tying Big Meal plus Greek Ship together to get a Fish is just really pleasing, especially when her four offspring continued it - Fish and Chips, Fish Market, Herbafish (by Herbalist, lol), and Little Mermaid.
